Winners Announced
11th Annual New York Game Awards honored best games, actors, journalists, and esports athletes of the year
Tonight the 2022 New York Game Awards virtually celebrated the best games, actors, esports athletes and journalists of the past year. With heartfelt messages about persevering throughout the pandemic from around the industry, including Phil Spencer, CEO at Microsoft Gaming, Stanley Pierre-Louis, CEO at Entertainment Software Association, and Tim Schafer, founder at Double Fine, the New York Videogame Critics Circle (NYVGCC) recognized the accomplishments of the hard-working people that make the games industry so great. The event was held in front of a global audience via Twitch, YouTube and IGN. Now that the dust – and confetti – has settled, it’s time to announce the winners!
